Method (methodology)
Hexabit Studio does not impose human team ceremonies on agents. The director agent picks the method by looking at the work; tasks, criteria, decisions and reports stay as files whatever the method.

What it does

- Discovery work: when what is wanted is unclear, short agile loops; a small piece, feedback, the next piece.
- Contract work: when scope, delivery and acceptance are clear up front, phased (waterfall) progress; scope changes become written decisions.
- Risky code: for money, security or irreversible changes, extreme programming habits: test first, small steps, independent review.
- Continuity and lossless hand-over: requests, decisions and lessons live in files, so work continues even when the session, agent or person changes.
Step by step
- Write your request in the field on Home or in the director island.
- The director agent classifies the work and records the method in the task notes.
- If scope changes in contract work, a decision record (DEC-###) is opened; you approve it.
- Whatever the method, acceptance criteria and the review gate stay the same.

Frequently asked questions
Are there sprints and stand-ups?
No. These ceremonies add no value for agents; progress is read from the task files.
Can I choose the method?
Yes. Say so in your request and the director agent follows it.
Does a small job need all this paperwork?
No. Small work takes the light lane: green verification, a commit and a short note. See Lite profile.
